Emily & Timothy – Q Station, Manly

When Emily & Timothy started planning their day, they wanted a venue that felt relaxed, personal, and just a little unexpected. A Q Station wedding turned out to be the perfect fit, offering not just a beautiful setting, but also a laid-back atmosphere that allowed everyone to truly enjoy the celebration.

With the harbour as the backdrop and their closest people gathered around, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with genuine emotion. There were plenty of laughs, a few happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of joy. It was the kind of ceremony that felt completely natural, no fuss, no pretence, just two people promising forever in front of the people who mattered most.

Afterwards, we wandered the grounds for photos. Q Station’s mix of lush greenery, waterfront jetties and heritage buildings gave us a few simple but striking backdrops, though what really stood out were the couple’s interactions with each other. They couldn’t stop smiling, sharing little jokes and moments of quiet connection. Their bridal party brought the energy too, making the portrait session light-hearted and fun, exactly how it should be.

The speeches were heartfelt and hilarious, the food and wine flowed easily, and by the time the music started, the dance floor was packed.
