Charlotte & Abdul both decided to hold their wedding on the Central Coast at a local golf course named the The Springs. The big draw card when it came to picking The Springs for their wedding was that it allowed them to hold their entire wedding reception outside underneath the stars. This was a feature that apparently they struggled to find with other wedding venues on the Central Coast. So it made picking The Springs as their wedding venue a no brainer.
Their story first began when Charlotte and Abdul met during a training session at their local weightlifting club. Even thought they both have very different personalities, they do share a lot of common interests i’m told. Without a doubt, weightlifing is one of them. Another is their passion for social work where Abdul and Charlotte both own and run their own disability support company.
For the proposal which lead to their wedding at The Springs, Abdul decided to pop the question at Mrs Macquaries chair in Sydney. Apparently Abdul managed to keep it a complete surprise, that is until right before it happened. According to Charlotte it was at this point, when he began acting a little differently and she knew something was up. With the a setting sun and Sydney harbour as their back drop, Abdul followed through despite the built up nerves.
