If you are looking for a wedding venue somewhere between Sydney and Newcastle, then this list of nineteen Central Coast wedding venues is sure to tickle your fancy. As a Central Coast wedding photographer, I feel it’s my job to help couples make the entire wedding planning process as smooth and easy as possible. Sure, you could scour the internet for hours on end trying to find that perfect venue. But there’s really no need because Lonely Hunter Weddings have already done it on your behalf. To help make your life easy, I have compiled a list of the best venues which are scattered throughout the Central Coast area. At Lonely Hunter Weddings, I don’t believe in poor quality or experiences and it’s for this reason that we have only listed the best.
The list seen below has been constructed in no particular order. If you don’t find what you are looking for here, then you might like to take a look at some other venues we have featured in nearby areas. Links to these article can be found at the bottom of the page.

Central Coast Wedding Venues

The Springs

When it comes to The Springs, don’t let the fact that it’s a working golf course deter you, it’s actually one of its many draw cards. The property is quite large (125 Acres), so there are plenty of spaces to take photos and what better way to get around than by golf cart. The staff here are extremely helpful and will go to any length to ensure your wedding day runs exactly as planned. Whether you’re planning a small wedding or one with 350 guests, The Springs has you covered.

As far as I am aware, The Springs is one of the only Central Coast wedding venues which allows you to hold your entire reception under the stars while having access to power. This allows you to bring the atmosphere by adding hundreds of festoon lights to your outdoor reception space. If you would prefer to hold your reception indoors then they can cater for that as well. In this case, they have two large rooms for you to entertain your guests, each with an Industrial/rustic vibe.

Glenworth Valley

Glenworth Valley is a spectacular privately owned property situated within the Central Coast’s Hinterland. With multiple ceremony locations, some which feature 180-degree views across the valley and a newly built function centre, Glenworth Valley will be able to host your entire wedding from start to finish. Whichever part of the property you decide to use for your photos you can guarantee they will look amazing when taken in front of the many valley backdrops. For your reception, the newly built function centre can host up to 180 guests and has two separate rooms, the wilderness room and the rainforest room. Whether you’re looking for a reception space which opens out onto a spacious balcony or a lush lawn, you can take your pick.

When it comes to choosing from this list of Central Coast wedding venues, one big draw cards for Glenworth Valley is the daily horse run. Imagine 200 or so horses galloping across open paddocks and through river crossings. It’s a pretty spectacular event and yes you can get photos as they run past. I can promise you, you won’t find anything like this from any other venue! This event is shown in some of our photos below.

Kantara House

Kantara House was originally built in the 1960s where it was seen as the epitome of elegance and sophistication. However, it wasn’t until 2014 when the Reid family bought the property and breathed some new life into it. They even went a step further and constructed what is now known as the beautiful Charlotte Chapel. Kantara House considers itself to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ when it comes to your wedding day (even though they don’t like the cheesy catchphrase). For the ceremony, if chapels aren’t your thing, then that’s okay as there is a completely separate space designed for outdoor ceremonies. In terms of the reception, you can utilise their spacious Ashley Phillip room which can accommodate up to 200 guests. And when all is said and done you can return to the on-site bridal suite to wind down at the end of the day.
